What are your favorite NONAME pieces?
I love the dotty mini cardigan set in both red and brown. They are so playful, it reminds me of bambi for some reason.
Where would you wear NONAME?
Being a fashion student, I always try to dress up for class, it just feels right. The key is wearing something that not only looks good but feels good. All of the NONAME cashmere pieces I've worn literally feel like butter, so even though I look super stylish, I feel like I'm wearing pjs. I like to work smarter, not harder.
How do you feel when you wear NONAME?
I have felt so confident wearing all of my pieces because I always get tons of compliments. I love wearing vibrant colors because they make me stand out and people start to notice.
What makes NONAME special or different from other brands?
What makes NONAME different from other brands is fabric quality and the unique patterns. Not only does the fabric feel like butter, the unique color combinations one up the comfortability that the garment already offers.
How does working with NONAME make you feel?
I’m honestly so honored to be working with a brand that I feel aligned with. When I get dressed In the morning, I always strive for style and comfort. The noname pieces feel special because they are quality and wearing the vibrant patterns feels true to me.
How does NONAME inspire you and what does the brand inspire you to do?After taking time with my pieces, the brand has inspired me to look inward, reflecting on overconsumption and consider what it means to invest in quality pieces. Seeing well made garments with proper tailor-ship and attention to detail inspires me to keep designing clothes.
What does NONAME remind you of?
NONAME feels like a childhood memory. The colors feel playful and the patterns really familiar. As we grow older I feel that some adults find it less acceptable to wear bright colors and patterns but NONAME is flipping this narrative and combining playful and professional fashion.
Tell me about yourself.
I am a fashion design student at SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). I'm a rising junior and I enjoy styling, content creation, film, painting, etc. I feel a true artist is one that dabbles in a little bit of everything, so I try to learn something new everyday. I feel it inspires what I create in my fashion classes.
What do you like to do for fun?
Ever since I was in elementary school, my idea of fun has always been taking photos or videos of myself or others. When I was younger it was merely a music parody video and now has evolved into weekly photo shoots with my best friends, exploring new outfit combinations to post online. I always tell people that my social media is my portfolio for all the art I create.
How did you get to where you are now, as a content creator?
During covid, there was quite literally nothing for me to do. At this time I began taking an interest in fashion and so some days after school I would set up my camera in my backyard and take a few photos of cool outfits and post them online. Once quarantine was over, I would take friends all over town to take photos with me until it became a routine. I wouldn't say I was seeking out the role, but content creation sort of found itself into my life. Brands would reach out to me,m taking an interest in my photos and I feel it just motivated me to keep going. I've been able to work with some amazing brands over the years and I’m so grateful.
How do you make sure your personal brand remains authentic?
My personal brand identity is so important to me because I want my page to stay true to who I am. If a brand reaches out inquiring to work with me and I feel it wont resonate with my audience, I usually don't take on the commitment.
What do you hope to accomplish in your future?
In the next two years I hope to successfully execute my senior fashion collection and graduate from college. From there I hope to land a job in the fashion industry, doing what I love while also pursuing content creation on the side. My dream is to attend Paris fashion week in the next two years!
Where do you shop? (personal style, home decor, places that inspire..)
I usually always shop second hand. Either I'm sifting through my local thrift shops or I'm buying luxury pieces from a consignment shop or app. My style switches up quite frequently so I try to keep my styling endeavors on the cheaper side.
What is your favorite brand of designer and why?
I would say my favorite brand is Maison Margiela. There is simply not a piece they've produced that I wouldn't buy. I am such a tactile person and everything they create is not only appealing to the eye, but makes you want to reach out and touch it.
What is the coolest vacation you have ever been on?
Before freshman year I went to the scad France campus for a week orientation and It was my first time in Europe. I love the energy and atmosphere of France so much that I decided I would go back this fall to study for 8 weeks. It's a quaint little town in the south of France and it feels like home.
